Good morning, Sempervivums! Almost spring!!

My farm has started from Hardy succulents as I can have more space outside. Among several Hardy plants, Sempervivum is very easy to take care and over 3000 of varieties in the world, which make us feel happy to collect them little by little.

Most of the sempervivums become boring green colour during the winter, but they gain the colours again when the sunlight became stronger gradually.

I will show some of them in February colour, and they will become even more colorful a few months later!!

Golden nugget

one of the most stunning colour specie spreading to the world recently. I never seen this colour in this season before meeting this one!

Tesoro

very elegant creamy magenta colour now. Will change into the mixture of lime green and vivid pink in Spring.

Havendijker Teufel

This sempervivum is medium size and doesn’t become too large. Good for a compact garden or small space in a rock garden. They will show more reddish edge around April to May.

Hongmond

This one is also stunning beautiful specie. It is already showing their deep red purple colours, but the appearance changes dramatically each season! I would like to show them in Spring, Summer, and Autumn again.

Bronco

You can find this specie easily in various garden centers or plant nurseries. Very tough specie and keeping good colour whole year round. I recommend this for one of your first sempervivum collection, or simply good for the unique accent in your garden edge.
